Rune of the Apprentice Reading & Giveaway

Author Jamison Stone will be reading from his novel Rune of the Apprentice. He ~may~ also be giving away some deep discounts to the hardcover and ebook editions!

About the book:
In a world where magic, technology, and nature have merged, the few who can control Runes hold dominance over all of creation. All naturally believe that Aleksi, a sixteen-year-old orphan, was blessed to be born with a Rune embedded in his palm, but that’s only because they don’t know the truth—Aleksi’s Rune is so powerful, it’s killing him.

Rune of the Apprentice utilizes Carl Jung’s psychology of archetypes and the collective unconscious to adapt Joseph Campbell’s theory of the Monomyth (updating it to be relevant for Millennials who live in a “Collective Technological Age.”) To create a truly contemporary "Modern Myth" this unique “Hero’s Journey” adaptation has profoundly unique character arcs for the hero and heroine, respectively. Because of this, these two aspects of the story—World and Character Arc—are intimately intertwined and create a mythical experience of epic proportions.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided! Come early for best seats!
