Feast of Films II: The Tomb of the Crowned Master

Feast of Fools is pleased announce the return of our popular "Feast of Films" format, where we explore the use of historically and artistically significant religious films as educational tools for the spiritual seeker.

This time, we explore the Mystery of Death in The Word by Carl Theodor Dreyer. After an introduction giving some background about the film, it will be screened in its entirety, followed by an analysis of how mediation upon the figure of the Dying God has played a central role in both Christian and Pre-Christian mysticism.

This event will be hosted by our Abbot of Unreason, Stuart Südekum.
