About the teacher:
MOLLY BURKETT (www.mollyburkett.com)
Molly Burkett is an artwitch, tarot guide and energy healer based in Brooklyn and originally from the Midwest. She is a shop reader at Catland Books and Maha Rose Healing Center and a frequent contributer to Tarot Society and Moon Church in both LA and NYC. She recently starred in an independent documentary about modern tarot reading, and has been featured in the Huffington Post, NY Post, and Bedford + Bowery.
She has read cards for herself and close friends since she was 15, but a spiritual awakening at the deep end of depression in 2013 led her to take it seriously as a mindful art form. She believes in the power of the tarot to facilitate self-healing, whether you "believe" in its metaphysical connotations or not. It can help you to enhance inner awareness, let go of anxiety and stress, reclaim your agency during challenging times, and manifest your dreams. Her practice is evolving all the time as she explores the myriad of traditions and practices that intersect with divination and healing. Her current offerings include tarot, reiki, chakra balancing, crystals, custom spellcraft, as well as designing and curating unique magical goods.
