The Trans Day of Remembrance is the annual observance, an act of reverance, veneration and honor for all of our brothers, sisters and siblings that we have lost - both past and present. This is a time for all of us to come together in solidarity and to remember those who have been taken from us, to celebrate life in the face of death and to share our stories, experiences, thoughts and feelings on where we have come from, where we are and where are going. It is also an act of courage, emboldening us to fight more fiercely for our freedom from persecution and oppression and to acknowledge those who have come before us and made our lives possible, many of whom have fallen in this same fight. We will invoke and honor our Might and Beloved Dead, as they are the mountains whose shoulders we stand upon.
50% of proceeds will be set aside: 25% to the Ali Forney Center and 25% to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds
