Surefooted and strong, capable and potent; these women are archetypes that we need now more than ever. While feminism is a relatively new concept in the scope of human history, women have been rebelling for as long as they have been subjugated. Their stories come from across the globe and are woven through every faith, and prove that the lineage of women who dare to reclaim their power is deep, storied, and strong.
Join us as we speak their names, retell their myths, conjure their memories, and celebrate their lives.
This workshop explores the myths and images associated with a selection of feminist icons in spirituality and mythology, providing strong allies for building an empowered spiritual practice, and archetypes of solidarity for the embattled.
