We will explore the basics of Plant Magik: what it is, how it works and where it comes from as well as what makes certain plants “sacred”. We’ll look at everything from teas to tinctures and smoke to salves, working through the countless ways plant magik forms the backbone of witchcraft in theory and practice.
We will explore the fertile magik of the seed, the hidden, deep magik of the root and all of their chthonic connections. Working the seeds and the roots is the key to accessing the wisdom of any plant spirit ally, as well as the medicine and magik each plant has to offer, including the historic, traditional and folk usages of plant magik and it’s component parts.
We will explore the myriad attributes, uses and interactions involved in choosing ingredients, establishing plant allies and crafting spells. The branches mirror the roots, as above so below, and the connections above ground are no less important.
We will explore all of the stunning, magikal glory of the flower as the culmination and crown of each plant’s energy as well as each of the plant’s planetary, astrological rulers, elemental affinities and the multitude of correspondences attributed to each of our plant allies.
