Beginning with divination, your problem will be identified and then addressed with a plan of attack personally designed for you with concrete steps you can navigate yourself.
Each of our staff hails from a different tradition, religion or belief system which will inform their approach in order to give you the best advice for the best results.
Dakota St. Clare
Dakota is a Brooklyn-based witch, diviner & educator who has been working with clients for over a decade, offering assistance and guidance to individuals seeking clarity in the chaos of modern life.
They are known for their frank, no-nonsense reading style, offering a bird’s eye view of your current situation and insight into the influences around you as well as creative, intuitive solutions to a myriad of life’s challenges.
Dakota is also known for their skills in mediumship and spirit-work, connecting folks with their spirits, specifically their Ancestors so that they may move forward encouraged and empowered.

Melissa Madara
Melissa Madara is a witch, storyteller, & herbalist. Their work deals with the healing power of myth, divination, and immersion in the natural world. They are a teacher at Catland Books and other metaphysical spaces in NYC & beyond, and are available for herbal consultations, tarot, and spellwork questions by appointment.
In addition to reading tarot, Melissa is also a scryer and student of Jungian dream analysis, which she often chooses to incorporate into her readings. She is also one of Catland's resident apothecaries, and can craft herbal preparations as part of readings upon request. She believes in narrative as therapy, and uses the stories told in the tarot to examine, dissect, and explore the human mind and all of its questions.
Her reading style is rooted in finding practical solutions to life's questions, but her consultations are patient, informal, and conversational. Her goal is to set up comfortable space for querents to explore what needs exploring, and leave empowered with tangible solutions in-hand.

B is a queer swamp witch from Florida with roots in southern folk magic & an affinity for practical witchcraft. For B, Accessibility is incredibly important in their work, and you can expect to walk away from a reading with B with a list of household items that are magickal enough - working with everything from the power of numbers & candle magick, to roots, herbs and curios as allies in your spellcraft.
As and astrologer and numerologist, B will create an individually-tailored report specific to you, exploring the similarities and differences between your birth chart and the defining numbers of numerology. These reports are written in an accessible, beginner friendly tone & are easy to understand regardless of ones own personal practice.
Booking a reading with B will result in this report being generated, and it can be sent to you through email or explained to you in person or through Skype/phone reading. B is known for their friendly and inviting energy, and they would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have.

Aerinn Kolfage
Aerinn is a witch, cunning woman, and urban sorceress who puts a modern twist on European peasant magic and American folk practices. Raised by an intuitive medium deeply immersed in Catholic tradition, Aerinn inherited a fondness for ritual and experienced the closeness of the Otherworld at a young age. Gavilán Rayna Russom
Born on Beltane into a family with roots in several strong European folk healing traditions, Rayna has been a practicing witch for most of her life.
She began communicating with the dead in childhood and after moving to Brooklyn in the late 1990’s she began to take part in Misas Espirituales which gave context to her childhood experiences and shaped her divining practice.
This path eventually led her to formal initiation as an Espiritista in 2010. Her reading style is direct and practical, focussed on identifying what spiritual energies are at work in your life and how to work with them to navigate challenges and surmount problems.

Lux Heljardottir
Lux Heljardóttir is a runemaster, vǫlva, and practicing revivalist Heathen with a Vanic perspective. She teaches classes on Old Norse magic, mythology, and history at Catland Books and has over 20 years of practical experience. An NDE survivor, Lux believes that love and death change all things. She's available for rune readings and consultations.
What to Expect:
Lux reads Elder Futhark runes in the white cloth throwing style. Her readings are grounded, genuine, and invite you closer to your own sovereignty. Patient and engaging, Lux aims to answer all of your questions and complements the flow of runic energies by also involving insights received through the vǫlur art of spá.
You don't need to bring anything to your online meeting except a candle. Please email Lux if you require a session time outside her availability hours.

We'll go over your questions with the aid of Elder Futhark runes thrown onto a white cloth. I'll walk you through the energetic threads present in your situation and explain a bit about the runes that come up for you. Spákona skills help me discern what else might be present. Together, we'll consider ideas for next steps that ground you in your own sense of purpose and agency.
• Spellwork Consultation: Gandr Consultation:
Norse spellwork advice. You'll share with me what your goals are and I'll also do a mini reading to consult the runes. Together, we'll sort out the best magical guidance for you. This can include any number of Norse practices from bindrunes, galðr, and blǿti to hamingja alignment. Don't worry—I'll explain anything unfamiliar!
